What instruments can you play?
I can play keyboard, a bit of bass guitar and a bit of electric guitar.
My keyboard is a Yamaha PSR 1700. I have two bass guitars - 1 is a Jim Deacon and the other is a Vintage My electric guitar is a Kiss replica, Silvertone. (it's rather sweet!)

Thats cool, Kirsty! Sounds like you would be useful in a band, are you in one or have you ever been? I can only really play Electric guitar and acoustic guitar which ive been playing for around 10 years on and off. I found the bass quite easy to get the hang of when Ive had the chance to have a go at it but im not great by any means! It would be cool if you could post a picture of your instruments sometime

I've not been in a band yet but I really should be though. I'm a bit out of practise with playing them them though.

That was quick haha! Thanks though, that is one SERIOUSLY cool guitar! Yeah it would be cool if you could get a band together, I was in a few bands in college, until people got different jobs and moved to various places, but I remember there always seemed to be a shortage of drummers, I guess because drumkits are more expensive than guitars and take up more room?

It's the only one I've already got uploaded to the computer. I've not taken any photos of my other instruments yet. I think that's why I chose that guitar for buying!
Probably. They're something like £1000 for a new kit. And yeah, then there's the whole space issue, especially if it's one of the mega sized kits!

It rocks! Do you have a favourite song to play on it? Do you get chance to play it loud often where you are?

I have too many neighbours to be able to play it loud. I've not yet mastered much on the guitar and can only play bits of songs which sucks so I really need to get back into the swing of things.

I'd love to have my own place in the middle of nowhere so that I could listen to music loud or play instruments loud. It's the best way!

i probably annoy my neighbors cuz i like to crank it while playing the intro to sweet child o mine XD I have a yamaha pacifica...a cheap squire that mas meant to use for travel...and 2 acoustics, which i gave to my dad....most of my friends play bass or guitar...and weve tried starting bands but it only gets to the idea point...not every even trying to get together. i hate playing around my one "friend" cuz they always insult like oh your not doing this right my guitar teacher says you gotta do it this way then i dotn play over there so they think i never play...i crank it when no one is home in my house at least i would love to have that guitar...

that would really annoy me. everyone has their own technique. it depends on what you find comfortable eg as you can play a song in say 2 ways but both sound the exact same (if you get my drift)

yeah i know...i always say well i want to play it this way cuz its more comfortable...then we get mad at each other...plus they have PRS custom which they would probably die if anything happened to it. Im not joking either...but if my guitar was that nice i probably would to...i would if anything happened to mine.

That is a seriously cool guitar!
Rachel, dont listen to anybody who tries to tell you how to play the guitar, just develop your own styles and techniques, I dont play everything the way 'your supposed to' but I can play pretty much anything I want with enough practice and I taught myself from scratch
